The Jaguar E-Type, or the Jaguar XK-E for the North American market, is a British sports car, which was manufactured by Jaguar Cars Ltd between 1961 and 1975. Its combination of beauty, high performance and competitive pricing quickly established the model as an iconic supercar.
On its release in March 1961 Enzo Ferrari called it "the most beautiful car ever made". The Series 2 (1968–71) featured an engine producing 246hp and torque of 263. A total of 18,809 units were built, worldwide.
